The artistic value of 400 Years 22'59 by *astrsk just stuns the suggester and myself, and we hope you'd feel the same too.

105mm f2.8? Nice. :D

The composition in this one is nice. I like the empty space at the top.

Oh and the little touches like the messed up border, or the digital grain stuff really add to the photo. :D

Unbelievable pose. Care to explain the title?

I believe that if someone's creation is not put out in the world without either fervent joy, fierce hope, heartfelt sorrow, or anger at injustice, it is doomed to failure.

I'm a big fan of uniformity. Instead of trying to come up with a title for each and every submission, I take the name of the event I was covering (in this case it was part of Bermuda's 400th Anniversary celebration) and then throw the time (hh'mm) in afterward.

If two photos were taken within the same minute, I throw an alpha numerical character at the end (i, ii, iii, iv, etc).

Because.. well.. dA doesn't allow two submissions with the same title.
:iconshamziel:
Fair enough. At least I know where you were now. :XD:

How was it?

Honestly? A waste of time and money, and a prime example of the government's double standards.

Three hours of my life that could have been better spent :|

Aww. *pats* I'm sorry to hear that.

This is quite an amazing capture!

Horribly intrusive watermarks are tacky. If you're concerned about people stealing your photos, don't post them on the internet.

Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event. (HCB)
